is greater nervous system rest
for everyone, for us
too.

this is what
we are
going for
but don’t
know how
to reach it

love is available for us


but we will have to move through


our pain first

the young will know
what older can’t
assume is left.

what wind reclaims

and friends remain
a colder shade

of red.
